West Side Story In The Recording Studio
Few musicals have the magical qualities that distinguish West Side Story. The combination of Leonard Bernstein and Stephen Sondheim with a book by Arthur Laurents marks a milestone in Broadway history.The current thrilling Broadway revival has already become the must-see show of the musical season, and the exceptional cast took time away from the stage to make a cast recording of the show for Sony Masterworks. The entire cast of 46, including Matt Cavenaugh, Karen Olivo, and the radiant Josefina Scaglione as Maria.
