Show Synopsis
The Toxic Avenger is capturing hearts of camp fans at the New World Theater. A vat of radioactive sludge falls on an unassuming science nerd and transforms him into New Jersey's first superhero. This hilarious love story is based on Lloyd Kaufman's 1985 film and adapted for the stage by Joe DiPietro and Bon Jovi's David Bryan. The Toxic Avenger spends his days righting wrongs caused by bullies, mobsters, and a corrupt mayor while seducing Sarah the Blind Librarian.
