The Royal Family
Show Synopsis
A showbiz comedy, The Royal Family, opens at the Samuel J. Friedman Theatre on October 8th. The production follows the Cavendishes, a theatre family who struggles to understand why one of their own would choose domestic life over stage life.
Set in New York in 1927, the show features an award-winning cast with greats like John Glover and Rosemary Harris. Directed by Tony Award winner Doug Hughes, The Royal Family brings out the writing of two Broadway greats, George S. Kaufman and Edna Ferber.
