The new musical based on the beloved Addams Family has much good will behind it. The Addams family was first created by Charles Addams in comic form for The New Yorker, and later transformed into a 60s sitcom and a popular film series as well. While the new musical is less a crowing achievement in the Addams odyssey, it offers a share of smiles and first-rate production values. Show Synopsis
They're creepy and they're kooky... and they sing too. Based on the cheeky cartoons of Charles Addams, the new Broadway musical stars Tony Award Winners Nathan Lane and Bebe Neuwirth as Gomez and Morticia. In this original story, the famously macabre Addams Family is put to the test when outsiders come to dinner, hurling Gomez, Morticia, Wednesday, Pugsley, Fester, Grandmama and Lurch headlong into a night that will change the family forever. The cast features some of Broadway's best, with a creative team that boasts a staggering number of Tony Award nominations.
