Although technically a musical featuring the work of Bono and The Edge, Spider-Man: Turn Off The Dark should be classified as something else. According to director Julie Taymor, who brought the hit The Lion King to life, the production should be considered a "circus rock-'n'-roll drama." A new take on a beloved Marvel comic character, Spider-Man: Turn Off The Dark follows the well-known tale of Peter Parker as he "spins" into a hero. Broadway's Spider-Man: Turn Off The Dark features Evan Rachel Wood as Mary and Alan Cumming as the Green Goblin. The actor who will don the tight pants of Spidey remains to be seen.
