It is interesting to note that a review of the 1946 Broadway production of Noel Coward's play Present Laughter described the play as old-fashioned. Well, when it comes to celebrity and the public's fascination with all things starry–Noel Coward was very much ahead of his time (and his medium, for that matter). Show Synopsis

The genius of Noel Coward returns to Broadway in the revival of his classic comedy Present Laughter.
