Next To Normal
Show Synopsis
Serious themes and complicated issues play out in the new rock musical Next to Normal. The show arrives on Broadway after a successful, award-winning run Off Broadway at Second Stage Theater. Next to Normal tells the story of how a family is impacted by a mother with bipolar disorder. Grounded in contemporary subjects, the musical considers how a suburban family copes with immense crisis and how far two parents will go to protect their children, and keep their lives unbroken by mental illness.
