The Tudors are back! Written in 1800, this new production of Friedrich Schiller's Mary Stuart, reveals a contemporary understanding of the timeless problems of power between Queen Elizabeth I and Mary Queen of Scots. Mary Stuart is a thrilling epic in which Queen Elizabeth I tries to defend the Protestant throne from her Catholic cousin, Mary. Rich with drama, captivating characters, and political insight, Mary Stuart remains one of Schiller's most effective plays. Janet McTeer and Harriet Walter will re-create their acclaimed, 2005 performances from London's West End to Broadway in Mary Stuart penned by Peter Oswald.
