American Idiot
Show Synopsis
Green Day's American Idiot musical follows a slew of characters as they travel from their small towns lives in the suburbs to the big city and beyond, all while searching for the meaning of life in a world full of confusion. Whether it be through joining the armed forces, having life be put on hold for an unexpected baby, or letting things spin out of control from drug abuse, American Idiot provides a chilling dose of reality of life in the USA. American Idiot was inspired by the Grammy Award Winning band Green Day and has featured a rotating cast of rock stars in the role of St. Jimmy, including Melissa Ethridge, and Green Day front man Billie Joe Armstrong.
