Blood Brothers
Show Synopsis
West End cult classic, Blood Brothers is one of London's longest running musicals, with an original premiere date in 1988. The story revolves around two fraternal twins who were separated and birth. Their vastly different upbringings send them in opposite social directions, with one becoming an Oxbridge-graduated councillor and the other unemployed and in prison. Years later they fall in love with the same woman, causing a break in their friendship, and ultimately leads to their deaths. Written by Willy Russell, Blood Brothers is the winner of the 1983 Olivier Award for Best New Musical.
