The Little Mermaid Then and Now

As Broadway prepares to bid farewell to The Little Mermaid on August 30th, Disney fans need not week. Ariel and company will be swimming to a theatre near you in 2010.

For the record, the she will have played over 700 total performances on Broadway, and with the recent additions of Chelsea Morgan Stock ('Ariel'), Broadway legend Faith Prince ('Ursula'), and Drew Seeley ('Prince Eric'), it is safe to say that the production continues to be strong. Never a hit on the scale of The Lion King or Mary Poppins, by Broadway standards The Little Mermaid was still a hit. Enjoy this combination of Mermaid pictures past and present.
