So You Think You Can... BURN THE FLOOR!

The first entry for the new Broadway season could well be the most incendiary, figuratively speaking. The production is called BURN THE FLOOR, and it features Latin and Ballroom dancing front and center at the Longacre Theatre.

Directed and choregraphed by Jason Gilkison, who you may remember from the fourth season of So You Think You Can Dance, the production was first conceived for Sir Elton John's 50th birthday celebration in 1997. Now it's a Broadway show. Previews start fittingly in July (on the 25th), with a steamy opening on August 2. Until then, check out these pictures of the production from Mark Kitaoka and Kevin Berne.
