Primary Stages Celebrates 24th In Style

Long regarded as one of the staples of the New York Theatre community, Primary Stages is one of the main houses where new work happens. It seems only natural then that the stars of Broadway's Gypsy turned out to toast Primary Stages, and celebrate its place as a New York institution at New York's Grand Hyatt. Fittingly the celebration featured actors, playwrights, and producers.

Including the Tony Winning Trio from Gypsy, legend Patti LuPone, the esteemed Boyd Gaines, and the captivating Laura Benanti. Broadway legends' legend Marian Seldes was on hand as were Tom Viertel, Richard Frankel, Steven Baruch, Mark Routh, Christopher Schran, Joy Soprano, Leigh Ann Larkin, Audra Blaser, playwright Lee Blessing, Kathleen Clark, and Jerry Zaks.
