Studio 54 was the site of another starry Broadway opening. With the classic Pal Joey starring Martha Plimpton and Stockard Channing, another American musical gem is finding new life on Broadway.

Turning out to cheer the show was a gathering of stars of stage and screen including Nathan Lane, Chita Rivera, Cynthia Nixon, Andrea Martin, Rachel Dratch, director Walter Bobbie, Jerry Stiller, Jane Alexander, Lily Rabe, Broadway favorite Tony Roberts, Mario Cantone, and Patricia Clarkson.
