Brighton Beach Memoirs Delights Broadway
By Broadway Magazine Staff

The toast of Broadway this week is Neil Simon's Brighton Beach Memoirs. Featuring an exceptional cast lead by Laurie Metcalf, the new David Cromer revival of Neil Simon's Brighton Beach Memoirs has earned an ample supply of strong reviews. From newcomer Noah Robbins performance as Simon's alter-ego to veteran Dennis Boutsikaris, the production boats one of the best ensemble casts on Broadway. Excellent performances from Santino Fontana as the troubled but admirable brother Stanley, Jessica Hecht as Blanche and Alexandra Socha and Gracie Bea Lawrence as her daughters are noteworthy as well. As a director, Cromer finds a tone that is both quite emotional and truly entertaining. Check out these pictures of Brighton Beach Memoirs from Joan Marcus.
