Billymania! Billy Elliot's Starry Opening Night

It doesn't get much better than this. After three years, the new Broadway musical Billy Elliot has opened in New York after becoming a hit in London and Australia.

With a tidal wave of positive reviews, it is no wonder that at the opening night performance and after party everyone was smiling. Taking a bow on opening night were Elton John and Stephen Daldry, two of the creative team responsible for bringing the musical to life. Also, at the opening night, the Three Billys joined stars Haydn Gwynne, David Alverez, and even film star Rachel Weicz, Ben Stiller, Mayor Michael Bloomberg and Diana Taylor, Brian Grazer, David Furnish, Barbara Walters, Ron Howard, Kevin Spacey, Natasha Richardson, Parker and Rosie O'Donnell, Mark Indelicato, Stephen Schwarz, Billie Jean King, Mario Cantone, James Lipton (once rumored to be one of the three Billys), Tina Brown, Valentino, Bryan Batt of Mad Men, Joel Grey, Anna Wintour, and more in celebrating a triumphant opening.
