In what has been one of the most hotly contested category of the season, the American Theatre Wing has selected the four nominees for Best Revival of A Play on Broadway.

While acclaimed productions like The Seagull with Kristin Scott Thomas were not nominated, it is hard to take exception with any of the exceptional revivals nominated in this category. The exceedingly hilarious and touching production of The Norman Conquests and the intense drama Mary Stuart both come from London with the London cast in the leading roles. Joe Turner’s Come and Gone by August Wilson and the remarkable revival of Waiting For Godot are productions that originated directly on Broadway. Take a look at these images from Broadway’s Best Revival Of A Play nominees. Each play is currently playing on Broadway.
