As You Like It Romances at BAM

Sure all the world's a stage, but very few productions are staged with the same cast all around the world. The Bridge Project under director Sam Mendes takes the universal appeal of Shakespeare quite literally, and on January 26 his production of Shakespeare's delightful symphonia on love–As You Like It – will officially open in New York at BAM's Harvey Theatre. Just in time for Valentine's Day.

This is the second year of the three year Bridge Project, which offers co-productions by BAM, The Old Vic, and Neal Street devoted to producing large-scale, classical theater for international audiences.

As You Like It boasts big hearts and big laughs. Of course, as this is directed by Sam Mendes and written by William Shakespeare, there will likely be some darker tones as well. The cast includes the always brilliant Stephen Dillane, Christian Camargo and Juliet Rylance in key roles.

A complete cast list of who's who is listed below. Enjoy these pics from Joan Marcus, and you can also catch the Bridge Project production of The Tempest starting February 25th.

The complete acting company is as follows: Ashlie Atkinson (Phoebe/Juno), Jenni Barber(Audrey/Iris), Michelle Beck (Celia/Ceres), Edward Bennett (Oliver/Ferdinand)*, Christian Camargo (Orlando/Ariel), Stephen Dillane (Jaques/Prospero)*, Alvin Epstein (Adam/Gonzalo), Jonathan Lincoln Fried (Le Beau/Alonso), Richard Hansell (Amiens/Sebastian)*, Ron Cephas Jones (Charles the Wrestler/ Caliban), Aaron Krohn (Silvius/Adrian), Anthony O'Donnell (Corin/Trinculo)*, Juliet Rylance (Rosalind/Miranda)*, Thomas Sadoski (Touchstone/Stephano), Michael Thomas (Dukes Frederick and Senior/Antonio)*, Ross Waiton (Boatswain, Francisco, First Lord)*.
