Taking Guys and Dolls Down Under

Guys and Dolls opened in Sydney today. The show is getting very positive reviews in Australia. One of the leading newspapers Down Under gave the show a nice feature article as well.

Our Broadway Magazine team rounded up the reviews for the Broadway production of the show,  where Ben Brantley of the New York times said, “…honey, there ain’t no chemistry in your show: not between the two pairs of leading lovers, or between the singers and their songs, or the actors and their parts.”

That begs the question, what the Australia team did that was so much different than the Broadway production?
