Vanessa Redgrave Boldly Back On Stage
Redgrave Keeps Promise

Vanessa Redgrave is an Academy Award Winning Actress, she is what actresses strive to become.
Redgrave’s daughter, Natasha Richardson passed away earlier this year in a skiing accident right before Redgrave was to appear on stage in Joan Didion’s The Year of Magical Thinking.
This coming Monday, October 26th, Redgrave will be performing in The Year of Magical Thinking for a one night benefit performance at the Cathedral Church of Saint John the Divine in New York.
In 2007 Redgrave performed in the play on Broadway and received a Tony nomination.
The Year of Magical Thinking is a play about a grieving mother and widow after the untimely deaths of her daughter and husband
In a WSJ article from today, WSJ asked Ms. Redgrave if she still wanted to do the play,
“Oh, yes, I do. You know, you decide at some point in your life, whenever it is,
that you will make a promise and then you’re going to try and keep it. The question is how
will you keep it and when will you keep it, but that you must keep it. That’s my frame of mind anyway”
