Hitchcock Maybe Going Off-Broadway
Alfred Hitchcock’s The 39 Steps looks to be stepping to Off-Broadway.
Producers of the shows are currently negotiating bringing the hit Broadway show to the New World Stages after the show closes January 10, 2010 from a nearly 3 years run on Broadway.
Steps’ show producer Bob Boyett had this to say, “We’ve just started to have a conversation with them, but no decision has been made…The decision to move is going to be based on what kind of business arrangement we can come to. We think the show still has life in it.”
