Steven Spielberg And Showtime Plan For Broadway TV Series
A TV Show About Developing A Broadway Show
Variety reports today that famed director Steven Spielberg and Showtime are wanting to launch an original series about creating, developing and seeing a Broadway show to opening night.
According to Variety, the series production team is currently meeting with creatives and writers for the series. It is said that the new series will profile every aspect of launching a Broadway show, from raising investment and also the personal life of the selected producer that the series will profile. It is hoped that the series will run for multiple seasons, focusing on new stage productions or variations of the original show selection.
