Broadway Star From Color Purple Entertains on ABC

Chaka Kahn starred in Oprah Winfrey’s musical The Color Purple on Broadway this past season, and now she celebrates the 4th of July with an appearance on ABC’s Good Morning Americasinging songs from her new CD. Always an audience favorite, it was a reminder of what a great entertainer she is, and why she continues to attract a crowd. Fireworks on July 4th started early in Bryant Park with Chaka Kahn on ABC.
