We Say Bye Bye Birdie Is A Fun Feel Good Musical, Worth Seeing

There was a hush on Broadway the day after Bye Bye Birdie opened recently. No one likes when a show gets bad reviews. Seeing a Broadway show is a magical experience and we say sometimes critics get lost in the negative instead of experiencing that magic. For the record, we like Bye Bye Birdie. It is everything that it sets out to be a fun feel good show for the entire family.

Tonight we caught up with Birdie himself, Nolan Gerrard Funk on the red carpet for The Brighton Beach Memoirs. Being bold (but respectful), we asked Funk what he thought of the reviews of the show. Funk actually had a lot to say about the show, the reviews and also his performance. Watch the video above to see the interview.
