Nine On Broadway Won 5 Tony Awards

In 1982 Nine the musical debuted on Broadway with direction by Broadway legend Tommy Tune, and it was an instant success with 729 performances, and the show won 5 Tony awards. Nine was a force to be reckoned with.

Today we had the chance to interview some incredible people at the Nine movie press event at the famed Waldorf-Astoria Hotel in New York.

Starring in Nine are Academy Awards winning actors Daniel Day Lewis, Marion Cotillard, Penelope Cruz, Judi Dench, Nicole Kidman, and Sophia Loren, as well as Academy Award nominee Kate Hudson, and Grammy winner Fergie.

At the event we had the chance to interview Fergie, Judi Dench, Daniel Day Lewis, Kate Hudson, Marion Cotillard, and Maury Yeston who did music and lyrics for Nine.

Starting off our press day was an interview with Fergie who is beautiful and super nice in person, she talked about her role and how excited she was to work with so many “A-list actors” as she put it, and she even gave advice for young people getting into the entertainment biz.

Kate Hudson was great as well, she really does look like her mom Goldie Hawn.
