Nicole Kidman is one of Hollywood’s most recognizable stars. Even so, Kidman says it was a pleasure sharing the screen with the other Hollywood heavy hitters in Nine the movie.
In the movie, Kidman plays a movie star that is being wooed (somewhat romantically, but more professionally) to be in his upcoming movie. The only catch is that the director (played by Daniel Day-Lewis) is going through a mid-life crisis and has not wrote the script. Kidman’s character ultimately refuses the director’s personal and professional advances.
In real life, Kidman says that Nine director Rob Marshall took her to lunch at the Beverly Hills Hotel and asked her to be in Nine. She gladly accepted. Watch the video above to see the interview with Kidman
