You know and love him as as Zack Morris from the hit 90’s TV series Saved By The Bell.Did you know Mark Paul Gosselaar is jumping into his first major theater role in the off-Broadway show The Understudy beginning November 4th at the Laura Pels Theater?
Gosselaar admits to being a theater novice, “I had no idea about anything…I didn’t know the process or the terminology…Everything has been taught to me by my director Scott Ellis and castmates.”
In The Understudy Gosselaar plays Jake, a big movie star who is also playing as an understudy in a Broadway play, Broadway veteran Julie White plays as stage manager and Justin Kirk plays as Jake’s understudy.
