Marion Cotillard plays Luis Contini, the stunning but undervalued wife of Guido Contini (played by Daniel Day-Lewis), in the new movie Nine. We spoke with the entire cast of Nine and found Cotillard to be one of the warmest interviews we have done related to Hollywood.
Cotillard says she got involved with Nine because she has always enjoyed musicals, going as far to say that she has always wanted to do a musical. Cotillard says that as a young girl, she could not get enough of Singing In The Rain and Annie. Cotillard says those two movie musicals have helped inspire her career.
