Katie Holmes All My Sons Protesters

Protesters Use Opening Night As Press Event

Tonight, All My Sons opens on Broadway. As we type this, a hundred or so protesters are at the theater protesting Katie Holmes being a Scientologist. We decided to talk to a couple of these protesters, to see just what they stand for. We have to say, most the folks we spoke with could not answer tough questions. That makes us feel that people were protesting just to get camera time. And as you will see in the media tonight and tomorrow, camera time they got. The views expressed are those of the speakers only and do not necessarily reflect the opinion of Broadway.tv nor Broadway Magazine.

Anonymous may have been nervous talking to media crews but I have to say that on the whole, they are very wel informed about the abuses and crimes of the ‘Church’ of Scientology.
If you want to find out more,it’s not difficult.Google ‘Lisa McPherson’,'Paulette Cooper’ or ‘Operation Snow White’
Scientology employs slave labour including child labour. They harrass anybody who dares tell the truth about their organisation.
They have their own internal prison system called the ‘Rehabilitation Project Force’
They hold people against their will and often prevent them from seeking the medical care they need.
They push people into huge debt to pay for their courses, which often leaves people suicidal when people realise the hole they have dug for themselves.
The leader of Scientology,David Miscavige,is known to verbally and PHYSICALLY abuse his staff.
They disconnect members from any family or friends who question their beliefs, until they are totally dependent on Scientology for information.
    These abuses need to stop.

Could you give examples of the “tough questions” that were asked? I’m curious to know exactly what questions the protesters were unable to answer. Otherwise it just seems like a shot without any proof actually backing it up.

    Thanks.

For some reason I’m thinking that the tough questions include “What do you think of Katie’s pants” or “What was Suri wearing” or “Why do you hate the Tomfather?”

  5. BroadwayMagazine Says:

Not sure what the tough questions were either? Clearly this is a serious issue, and there was a great nightline documentary about the group which did a detailed job of outlining some of the major issues they are protesting about. It seems only to make sense that the group would gather for this opening and work to get their message out in the media.
