Mbatha-Raw studied acting at the world renowned Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London, RADA accepts only 28 students per years in a rigorous acting curriculum.
Mbatha-Raw played Jenny in a regular role in the TV series Spooks, as well as the lead of Vivienne Davis in the BBC drama Bonekickers.
She has appeared in Shakespeare’s Antony and Cleopatra, as well as playing Juliet in Romeo And Juliet, both in 2005 at the Royal Exchange Theatre in Manchester.

Prior to appearing in HAMLET on Broadway, Mbatha-Raw played alongside Jude Law in HAMLET in the Donmar’s West End production of HAMLET.
