Dee Roscioli Joins Broadway’s Wicked Cast
Roscioli To Play Elphaba

Dee Roscioli, starred in the Chicago production of Wicked and today July 21st she joins the cast of Wicked on Broadway at the Gershwin Theatre.
Roscioli’s role as Elphaba makes her Broadway debut, she joins an amazing cast of actor’s including Alli Mauzey as Glinda the witch, Tony winner Rondi Reed playing Madame Morrible, , Kevin Kern in the role of Fiyero, Cristy Candler playing Nessarose, Timothy Britten Parker is Dr. Dillamond, Alex Brightman plays Boq, and P.J. Benjamin is The Wizard.
Roscioli stage credit include a role as Grizabella in the national tour of Cats and she been in in workshops of Dangerous Beauty and Behind the Limelight.
Wicked is based on a novel by Gregory Maguire’s, Wicked’s journey is based on events of the witches of Oz, Glinda and Elphaba. Glinda is the cool Witch and Elphaba, well, not so much, and being green doesn’t help her cause. The two witches end up as roommates and as fate may have it, they do start to understand one another after despising one another at first. However, there journey’s in Wicked end up completely different. What happens? You’ll have to go see the show..
