David Hyde Pierce On National Equality March
On October 11th Broadway Heads To DC
This summer thousands attended the Broadway Impact Rally where Cynthia Nixon announced her engagement to her longtime girlfriend. One of the people at the rally was David Hyde Pierce. At the rally, we interviewed David and asked him about his thoughts on marriage equality. David married his longtime boyfriend in California sometime back. As you see in the interview, David is very passionate about the subject.
This Sunday, it is expected that thousands from Broadway will leave New York City and head to Washington DC to tell the world that the United States needs to move to a more accepting and progressive approach to marriage equality.
While on the Hamlet red carpet this week, we asked David about the National Equality March and what he thought of the event. Watch the video above to see what David had to say about Sunday’s march on Washington.
