David Cromer Picnic Broadway Revival Planned
David Cromer Brining Picnic Back

Director David Cromer is bringing William Inge’s Picnic back to Broadway after a successful production of Picnic in Chicago at the Writers’ Theatre last year which critics loved.
Picnic is a play about Midwesterners passions being aroused when a stranger comes to town, Picnic originally opened in 1953 and it won the Pulitzer Prize for Drama. Picnic was made into a movie in 1955, winning an Academy Award.
Picnic is scheduled for the 2010-2011 Broadway season.
