Marching With Cynthia Nixon In Washington

We met Cynthia Nixon this summer at the Broadway Impact Rally. She had one of the most inspirational speeches at the rally when she announced her engagement to her longtime girlfriend.  After Nixon’s speech we interviewed her and she urged people to get politically active.

This weekend, Nixon hopped aboard a Broadway Impact bus along with 50 members of her family and friends to travel to Washington DC for the National Equality March. Broadway Impact brought some 1,400 people from New York City to Washington DC for the march.

We interviewed Nixon on the march route right next to the White House. We asked her what she thought about Broadway Impact and what she would tell President Obama if she were given the chance.
