We interviewed Claire Danes last night on the red carpet for the New York City premiere of Me And Orson Welles. In the movie, Danes plays the love interest of Zac Efron’s character. The New York stop was the last of the Me And Orson Welels premier tour. A native New Yorker, Danes said that she was happy to be back in the city.
We agree with Danes, Me And Orson Welles is a great coming of age story. The movie profiles the legendary Orson Welles and his stage production of Julius Caesar and a young boy who is picked from obscurity to be in the show. Danes says that the movie is an ode to youth as the characters grow up as they bring Caesar from rehearsal to opening night success.
