Oscar Winner Plays Blanche DuBoise In Desire

Cate Blanchett has started in her new role of Blanche DuBois from A Streetcar Named Desire at the Kennedy Center in Washington D.C.

Early reviews are in and the critics are calling Blanchett in Desire as, “brutal beauty that demands our attention, and rewards it.” - USA Today

Blanchett will play DuBois in D.C. through November 21st, then off to the Brooklyn Academy of Music from November 27th to December 20th right her in New York.

We can’t wait!
