Daughter To Bring Dad’s Legacy To Broadway

Bruce Lee is an iconic name. And now the much loved martial arts expert who passed away many years ago is about to have his chance on Broadway.

Shannon Lee, Bruce Lee’s daughter and the heir to her dad’s name, has decided to let her late dad come to Broadway in a musical for the 2010-2011 Broadway season.

Producing Bruce Lee The Musical will be Stuart Oken, who was key in bring The Lion King to Broadway. Direction to be done by 7 time Tony winner for South Pacific, Bartlett Sher. The other famed talent behind Bruce Lee on Broadawy are with music by The Full Monty’s David Yazbek, and M Butterfly’s David Henry Hwang.

Did you know Bruce Lee was named one of the 100 most influential people of the 20th century by Time Magazine?!!
