Broadway Impact: New York Governor David Paterson on Marriage Equality

Continuing our coverage on the Broadway Impact event today, New York State Governor David Paterson also gave a speech to the crowd that ascended at 45th Street and 6th Avenue in New York City. Paterson urged New York State to pass marriage equality legislation, something the governor has been working on for a while now. Paterson was also joined by Cynthia Nixon and David Hyde-Pierce to name just a few.

The event was organized by Broadway Impact, co-founded by Gavin Creel who currently stars in HAIR on Broadway. Broadway Impact is comprised of a group of actors,  directors, producers and stage managers who feel that every person has the right to get married no matter gender or sexual orientation.
