Broadway Impact: NYC Mayor Bloomberg on Same Sex Marriage

Gavin Creel of HAIR on Broadway co-founded Broadway Impact, a marriage equality group. Today, Broadway Impact had a ground breaking event at 45th Street and 6th Avenue in Manhattan. The mission was for New York State politicians to legalize same sex marriage before June 20th, 2009 when the New York State’s current legislative session will end.

The electricity of the event was very exciting. People from all around New York City and the tri-state area came to support marriage equality. We spoke with Cynthia Nixon and David Hyde-Pierce who were just some of the stars on hand to support the event. Also one of the speakers was New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg.
