3-CPO Talks About Princess Leia

Tonight Anthony Daniels was at the opening of Dream Girls at Harlem’s Apollo Theater. Daniels is better known as 3-CPO from the legendary Star Wars franchise. We asked Daniels about Carrie Fisher who played Princess Leia in Star Wars. Fisher currently is on Broadway starring in her one woman show Wishful Drinking. During Wishful Drinking, Fisher makes several references to her time on Star Wars and creator George Lucas.

Daniels said that he only had one night off in New York City and it was a toss up between seeing Fisher’s Wishful Drinking or Dream Girls. Even though he has not seen the stage production of Fisher’s show, Daniels says that he has the book and that it is great.
