Alicia Silverstone & Laura Linney To Star In Time Stands Still
Pulitzer Prize Winning Playwright Donald Margulies Scores Silverstone

Pulitzer prize-winning playwright Donald Margulies play Time Stands Still has already inked 2 great actresses, first Laura Linney (who has won both an Emmy Award and Golden Globe Award), and now Alicia Silverstone, who rose to fame in film Clueless.
Silverstone is set to play ‘Mandy.’ This role gave Silverstone critical acclaim at play’s premiere in Los Angeles. Bob Verini of Daily Variety said Silverstone, “turns her character into an independent spirit of unexpected conviction.”
Time Stands Still is about James, a journalist and Sarah(played by Laura Linney), a photographer who have been together for nine years. Sarah and James share a passion for documenting the realities of war. However, injuries force the adventuresome couples return to New York, where they confront the idea of a more conventional life. Time Stands Still will be directed by Tony Award winner Daniel Sullivan.
Time Stands Still will premiere at the Manhattan Theatre Club’s Samuel J. Friedman Theatre (261 West 47th Street) on January 28th, 2010, with previews beginning January 5, 2010.
