TV Stars Roots Began On Stage

Jane Krakowski maybe best known for her TV roles like Ally McBeal and 30 Rock, but did you know this comedic actress honed her skills on the Broadway stage?

Krakowski was in the Broadway musical Starlight Express where she actually learned to skate, earning a Tony nod for the Broadway production of Grand Hotel, and Krakowski even won a Tony award for her role Broadway’s revival of Nine in 2003.

And just last year Jane was in a production of Damn Yankees in New York!! All this while still have a starring role as Jenna Maroney opposite 30 Rock castmates Tina Fey, Alec Baldwin and Tracy Morgan.

It’s amazing to us and we are sure to everyone that love’s Broadway how so many of your favorite TV stars are so connected to the stage and Broadway.

30 Rock Season 4 premieres tomorrow October 15th at 9:30 EST on NBC.
