West Side Story Broadway Turf War With Legally Blonde
Whispers About WSS Home
It would only be natural that the upcoming Broadway revival of West Side Story would be involved in a Broadway turf war. So, when theatre ghosts passed along the tip that the upcoming West Side Story directed by Arthur Laurents wants to play the Palace Theater on Broadway, we paid attention. Seems the Sharks (and the Jets, for that matter) are circling Bailey Hanks and the Legally Blonde cast, their show is currently playing the Palace, with great houses. This one could get messy. A real Broadway turf war. No theatre has been announced for West Side Story at this moment. We’ll see what happens.

All jokes aside, I seriusly thought i would be the first to cme up with the idea of bringing this play back to broadway. As a young man with few resources and contacts, I obviously was beat to the punch. I saw on NY1 that the leads have been casted already. I would like to know how I could go about attending an audition for a supporting role. Even if I end up as an extra or a grip, I definitely would do anything to be any part of this project.
