2009 Tony Awards Poster

BROADWAY MAGAZINE – This year could be the most exciting Tony Awards ever. Imagine Will Ferrell with Liza Minelli, Dee Snider sitting with Daniel Radcliffe down the aisle, Jane Fonda, Angela Lansbury, Susan Sarandon, Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise, Joan Allen, Jeremy Irons, and that is just a handful of personalities who could potentially be on hand at this year’s Tony Awards. So, with all the excitement, we took note of Tom O’Neil’s LA Times posting about the new Tony Awards Poster controversy. The bottom line is that the new poster is apparently not exciting Broadway fans. Click on the link to see the two posters. Of course, a bigger question is whatever happened to the Tony phony voting controversy last year? Look for the nominations in May.
