It takes something pretty special to have Bebe Neuwirth don the Fosse Bowler, and inspire Charles Strouse to write a new song. Well, the new ticket service center in Times Square achieved just that. The booth is set up to help with any question you might have and offers tickets for anything you might want to see. Called the Broadway Concierge, it is located right in Times Square at the Visitor Center.
“The new Broadway Concierge & Ticket Center is a nice addition to the comprehensive roster of services that are within easy reach to visitors from around the globe,” said George Fertitta, CEO of NYC & Company, the City’s official marketing, tourism and partnership organization. “We look forward to helping promote this new service, which will make the experience of visiting Broadway easier while helping to boost local businesses in the Times Square area.”
Also on hand was Charlotte St. Martin, Executive Director of The Broadway League. Part of the announcement includes the news that each week an episode of “SIRIUS Live on Broadway” at noon on Wednesday. The show promises Broadway interviews, singing, and a whole lot more.
