Michael Moore Has Broadway Plans

Filmmaker Eyes Broadway for One-Man Show

BROADWAY MAGAZINE – Fiery filmmaker Michael Moore has recently announced that he will make his Broadway debut in the next 24 months. According to SpoutBlog’s Karina Longworth, the auteur of Sicko and the upcoming Capitalism: A Love Story said “he’s planning to star in a one-man show on Broadway, presumably along the lines of his 2002 shows at the Roundabout Theater in London, ’sometime in the next 24 months.’”

In 2003, the show earned praise from UK critics, including Gulliver Cragg of The Independent who said “Moore’s talent is in steering popular indignation or derision at world leaders towards more intelligent analysis, while using what is largely the language of the pub.” While we were hoping for Roger & Me The Musical, we’ll bet that the one man show will be just as entertaining. Join us on Twitter to guess which songs Michael Moore might sing in his one-person show. If you can’t wait for the Broadway show, you can actually download his latest movie Slacker Uprising for free.
