Super Broadway Group Gets Honor
BROADWAY MAGAZINE – Advice to KISS and LL Cool J: if you want to get into the Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame, make a Broadway musical! Apparently, the road to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame runs through Broadway sometimes. The new inductees into the Hall Of Fame include supergroup ABBA, who’s Broadway hit musical Mamma Mia! continues to dominate and entertain audiences around the globe.
In addition to KISS and LL Cool J, other acts eligible this year but not inducted include Red Hot Chili Peppers and Donna Summer. Though past inductees like Bob Dylan, John Lennon, and Johnny Cash have not found success with Broadway musicals based on their work, ABBA sure has. No doubt, Hall Of Famers U2 are hoping for an ABBA-size success with their Spider-Man production as well.
