Jude Law’s Hamlet Sets Broadway Abuzz
Warm Broadway Reception But Cold Relationship?
BROADWAY MAGAZINE – Jude Law is coming to Broadway in William Shakespeare’s great drama Hamlet. The show has earned high marks in London, and the Donmar Warehouse production will arrive on Broadway at the Broadhurst this fall. Previews start September 12, and tickets should move quickly for this Hamlet. Interestingly, Mr. Law’s former wife Sienna Miller will also be on Broadway this fall in After Miss Julie. Do you think they will attend each others opening night? After reading a rather colorful post from the Coventry Telegraph it seems unlikely. The post cites a recent Vanity Fair article in which Ms. Miller reveals that Mr. Law asked her not to mention him in interviews. Sounds like it could be colder than doing “To Be or Not To Be” in the snow…which Mr. Law does in the new production of Hamlet (admirably, according to the London critics).Check out the on-demand issue of Broadway Magazine featuring President Obama’s Broadway visit pictures here.
