January 2009 Coldest Broadway Month
While Broadway will welcome Will Ferrell in January of 2009, news today confirms that January 2009 will likely be the coldest month on Broadway. Joining the list of shows closing in January is the Mark Rylance performance in Boeing-Boeing and Ace Young and the cast of Grease. With stars like Young and Taylor Hicks, also offered fresh faces and a fresh take on the favorite show. Grease is on national tour with Taylor Hicks now in action. Boeing-Boeingearned Mark Rylance a Tony Award. The list of other shows closing in January includes, Young Frankenstein, Hairspray, Spamalot with Clay Aiken, Spring Awakening, 13 The Musical, All My Sons, as well as the limited holiday runs of Irving Berlin’s White Christmas, and Slava’s Snow Show.
