Summer Smash Continues in Autumn

It seems as though the Broadway parade of Mamma Mia! rolls on around the globe. This summer the hit film beat Hairspray in its opening weekend, and news this past week that the musical has passed Hello Dolly to become the 16th longest running show in Broadway History. Sweet 16 for Mamma Mia! Next up, the musical needs to surpass Tobacco Road to become number 15.  Our regrets to Jerry Herman, but with rumors of a possible Dolly Broadway revival, he may find himself back at 16 again. As for Mamma Mia!, the magic number to beat is 3,182…currently Mamma Mia! 2,847 or so. Go for it!
